Estherville Lincoln Central four-sport athlete Christa Clayton will keep playing her two favorite sports next season.

Clayton set the five-player scoring record at ELC, totaling 1,158 points during her four years playing for coach Brad Leonard. That includes 408 points her senior season.

The 5-6 guard also was named first-team all-conference the past two seasons.

“With her leadership and athletic abilities, she’ll definitely contribute to our team,” said Iowa Lakes coach Brian Radtke. “With her ability to score and be a team player, we’re looking forward to her playing at Iowa Lakes.”

Clayton will former high school teammate Ricca Soper on next year’s Laker squad.

Christa is the daughter of Steve and Sandy Clayton of Estherville.
