MASON CITY — North Iowa Area Community College head softball coach Tyler Sisco has announced that Armstrong-Ringsted High School infielder April Gunderson has signed a national letter-of-intent to play for the Trojans next season.

Gunderson earned honorable mention all-state honors last season and has been a three-time all-conference selection throughout her high school career.

Last season, she batted .390 in Cornbelt Conference play. The senior plays third base for the Mustangs.

“April brings energy, toughness, and tremendous skill to our squad,” said Sisco about Gunderson. “She is a wonderful addition to our program.”
