WEST BEND — The Armstrong-Ringsted golf teams both were on the road to take on West Bend-Mallard on Tuesday.

The Wolverines earned wins in both matches with the boys winning 171 to 194 and the girls 248 to 263.

Meet medalist in the boys meett was WB-M’s Mitch Banwart, who shot a 40.

A-R was led by Spencer Claussen with a 43 while Dylan Looft shot a 47, David Leach a 51 and Keith Mathine a 53.

Non-counting scores were Brent Bush and Eric Bush, who each carded 58s.

A-R coach David Mischke noted two junior varsity golfers had scores that could’ve counted on varsity–Ethan Jensen shot a 50 and Travis Feddersena 54.

In the girls meet, WB-M’s Natalie Forsythe earned medalist honors witha 59.

For A-R, Nicole Johnson shot a 61, Megan Sanders a 63, Mercedes Larsen a 64 and Katelyn Cheever a 75.

Non-counting score was an 83 by Whitney Kinnander and an 87 by Cassie Rasmussen.

Graettinger/Terril 177,

Ruthven-Ayrshire 211

GRAETTINGER — The Graettinger/Terril boys golf team pulled out a victory with a 177 to 211 win over Ruthven-Ayrshire on Tuesday.

The Knights swept medalist honors with Jake Hoffman shooting a 40 and Kyle Harding a 44.

Other counting scores were a 45 from Cody Dyhrkopp and a choice of 48s from Kass Schany and James Tatman.

The other non-counting score was a 49 by Zach Harris.

“This is the first meet this year when we have had everyone on varsity in the 40s,” said G/T coach Brent Dyhrkopp.

The Knights will travel to Emerald Hills on Friday for the Okoboji Invitational.

Spencer 155, Spirit Lake 166, Emmetsburg 167

SPENCER — The Spirit Lake boys golf team split with Spencer and Emmetsburg on Tuesday.

Spencer’s Chris Cunningham won a three-way playoff between teammate Jay Monahan and Spirit Lake’s Jack Lorch to earn medalist honors. All three shot a 38.

The Tigers won with a 155 while Spirit Lake shot 166 and Emmetsburg a 167.

Other Spirit Lake scores, Matt Weeks and Alex Witte each shot 42s and Jack Johnson shot a 44.

Non-counting scores wee a 46 by Andrew Ingvalson and a 48 from Casey Early.
