ELC 7, Storm Lake 3

The Estherville Lincoln Central junior varsity softball team improved to 10-0-1 with a 7-3 win over Storm Lake on Monday.

Brooke Egeland pitching for ELC, giving up five hits with one strikeout and one walk in the win.

At the plate, Kelsey Shatto was 2-2 while Caitlyn Swisher and Christina Tendal each went 2-3.

The Estherville Lincoln Central junior varsity baseball team fell to 7-5 with a 6-5 loss to Storm Lake on Monday.

Marcus Christensen pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up one hit with two strikeouts and six walks.

At the plate, Dan Jones and Spencer Johnson each were 1-3.
