SPENCER – The Estherville Lincoln Central junior varsity softball team suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday with Spencer winning 7-6.

Brooke Egeland pitched for ELC. She gave up six hits and two walks while striking out two batters.

At the plate, Erin Kirchner was 2-2, Morgan Schichtl and Alex Olesen each went 1-3 and Christina Tendal was 1-4.
