ELC JV softball ties 0-0

EMMETSBURG – The Estherville Lincoln Central junior varsity softball team ended its season with its third tie on Wednesday. Neither the Midgettes or Emmetsburg scored in the 0-0 ball game. Brooke Egeland pitched for ELC. She struck out four batters, walked one and gave up two hits.

ELC managed just four hits. Emily Jensen was 2-3 while Erin Kirchner and Maggie Haugen each went 1-2.

The ELC JV ends the season wtih a 15-1-3 record.

ELC JV baseball falls 6-4

EMMETSBURG – The Estherville Lincoln Central junior varsity baseball team lost 6-4 to Emmetsburg on Wednesday. Nathan Jensen took the loss. he gave up nine hits and had four strikeouts and four walks.

At the plate, Marcus Chrisetnsen was 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI, Jensen was 2-3 while Dan Jones and Marcus Origer each were 1-4.

ELC falls to 9-8 overall.
