Knights ready to run
GRAETTINGER – Graettinger/Terril looks for its second road district win as the team travels to Gilmore City to play Twin River Valley tonight.
The Thunder have just one win this season, a 42-30 win over Harris-Lake Park to open district play two weeks ago. Twin River Valley is coming off a 70-24 loss to Armstrong-Ringsted.
Graettinger/Terril coach Karlton Hector said the Thunder are a team that can throw the ball effectively.
“For them offensively, is wait and see what they’ll try to do,” Hector said. “They have a good running back and a good offensive line.”
The Knights also will have to be prepared for anything defensively.
“We seen them in both and three and four front and they play a little softer with their linebackers,” Hector said. “We should be able to run the ball like we have the last few weeks.”
The Graettinger/Terril coach said a few of his players have been sick this week, but all were back Thursday and ready to go.
“The kids seem excited and are looking forward to playing,” he said.
