Knights repel Raiders

GRAETTINGER – After Ruthven-Ayrshire took game one against Graettinger/Terril, 25-20, the Knights evidently refocused their efforts to sweep the next three games on the way to a 20-25, 25-13, 25-10, 25-14 win on Thursday.

The Knights top four hitters combined for 32 kills led by Theresa Petersen with 11 while Malorie Girres had eight, Tasha Neilson had seven and Dakota Hovinga had six.

Setter Lindsay Flaharty had 17 assists.

Defensively, Leah Flaharty had 10 digs and three blocks.

Petersen had 12 digs and two blocks.

Serving, Neilson had 15 serves with six aces, Lindsay Flaharty had 14 serves with two aces and Girres had 13 serves with four aces.

The Knights (9-7, 4-2) hosts North Sentral Kossuth and Ventura next Tuesday.
