Indians fall in five to Tornadoes
STORM LAKE – Five-game matches seem to be average for the Spirit Lake volleyball team.
The Indians found themselves in a tight match against Storm Lake Tuesday and came up short in the 21-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-7, 15-12 loss.
Amber Kirschbaum led the attack with 11 kills and four blocks.
Ashley Colwell had seven kills.
Kori Heidebrink had 16 set assists while Alex Horsman had eight.
Serving, three players were perfect with Chelsie Stettnichs serving 16 times, Kylie Stoll 12 and Sara Hummel 11. Horsman was 22-of-24.
Defensively, Stettnichs had 11 digs and Stoll had 10.
Spirit Lake is home with Cherokee today.
