Lakers cruise past Mustangs

Darryl Davis hit seven 3-pointers and went 4-of-4 at the free throw line on the way to a 33-point night in a 95-65 win over the Morningside Junior Varsity on Wednesday.

The Lakers started quickly and breezed to a 49-22 halftime lead in a game in which all players in a uniform had an opportunity to play.

Robert Burns and Armond Boston each chipped in a dozen points with Ryan Hill scoring eight points.

Iowa Lakes improves to 3-1 overall.

The Lakers celebrate homecoming, Nov. 15-19 with a women’s/men’s doubleheader against Minnesota West starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Another home doubleheader will be held Monday as the Sioux Falls Junior Varsity comes to Estherville.
