Laker soccer falls to Tritons

FORT DODGE – The Iowa Lakes men’s soccer team fell below .500 in region play with Friday’s 3-0 loss to Iowa Central.

Max Peterson scored two goals for the Tritons, one in each half, and teammate John Morgan had one of his own in the second half.

Laker goalkeeper Matt Broomhall played the entire game and had seven saves.

Iowa Lakes had 10 shots on goal compared to nine by the Tritons.

Iowa Lakes (6-5, 3-4) is at Mason City where they will take on North Iowa Area Community College on Wednesday.
