With an all-new cast, the Iowa Lakes women’s basketball team still won easily, 71-53, over visiting Dakota Weslayan JV on Monday.

However his young team still has work to do.

“We didn’t finish things in the second half. We missed some easy shots and didn’t rebound as well,” he said.

The Lakers had balanced scoring led by Shannon Heard with 15 points. Monica Deighton and Shayna Geitzenauer each had 11 points and Anreienne Terrell had 10 points.

Bree Ann Hageman chipped in nine while Amy Pualzine had eight and Taylor Larson had five.
