GRAETTINGER – Playing host to a triangular with Armstrong-Ringsted and Clay Central Everly, the Graettinger/Terril boys golf team wasn’t very gracious as the Knights took a seven-stroke victory over CCE and walloped the Mustangs by 43 with a total score of 173.

“This was a good score for us considering the cool, windy conditions,” said G/T coach Brent Dyhrkopp.

Cody Dyhrkopp earned runner-up medalist honors, leading the Knights with a round of 40.

Dyhrkopp carded pars on seven holes, however, double bogeys on the par four third and the par three ninth held the senior back.

Blaze Alesch and Ryan Schany each carded 43s for the Knights and Zach Harris rounded out the scoring with a 47.

Non-counting scores came from Mitch Girres with a 48 and Quinn Parker with a 56.

Keith Mathine limped home with a 50 to lead A-R.

He was followed by David Leach and Jimmy Cronk with rounds of 55 and Dylan Looft with a 56.

Non-counting scores came from Ethan Jensen with a 63 and Clive Jensen with a 64.

CCE’s Brandon Full was meet medalist with a round of 37.
