The Estherville Lincoln Central girls team gained back a little confidence by sweeping visiting Cherokee 9-0 on Monday.

“Hopefully this will give us some confidence going into Thursday,” said ELC coach Larry Kirchner.

The Midgettes travel to Spencer for the individual regional tennis meet.

In singles play, ELC’s top layer, Lexie Hash had the toughest match of the night as she defeated Demi Dunn 11-10, (9-7).
