ARMSTRONG – A four-run third inning by Lake Mills, jump started by a solo blast by the Bulldog’s leadoff hitter, was enough to do the Armstrong-Ringsted baseball team in on Tuesday, as the Mustangs fell 9-3.

A-R took an early 2-1 lead after one inning of play thanks to a two-RBI single by second baseman Ethan Eisenbacher that scored Travis Hantelman and Tyler Tonderum. However, the Mustangs committed two costly errors in the third, along with the homerun, giving the Bulldogs a 5-2 lead that A-R just couldn’t cut into.

Evan Hagebock took the loss for A-R going six innings and was relieved in the seventh by Hantelman.

Tonderum was 2-3 on the night with a run scored and two stolen bases.

Eisenbacher was 1-3 with two RBIs.
