“We are starting to play at a high level of golf,” said Laker coach Andy Soper. “For the Women they have three more days til the Region tournament being held at Otter Creek in Ankeny and in those three days we need to keep working hard to fine tune the rest of our games. On the line is a trip to the National Tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida.

“For the men we have about two weeks left before regionals,” Soper said. “We will play one more meet a few days before regionals so in the mean time, a lot of short game work will need to get done.”

Next action for the Laker women will be Friday and Saturday, April 22-23 when they head to the Region XI tournament.

The Laker men will play next on April 28 at the Northwestern Men’s Spring Invitational.
