Running back to back:
SPENCER – Running on back to back nights, the Estherville Lincoln Central Girls Track Team still turned in several quality times in placing fourth at the Spencer relays with 100 points on Friday.
Spencer won with 137 points followed by Algona with 111, Spirit Lake Park with 110, ELC, Sheldon with 82 and Cherokee with 42.
ELC had three first-place finishes.
Allie Sievert won the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 11 inches while Taylor Bodle finished sixth at 4 feet, 3 inches.
Emily Kirchner won the 400-meter dash in 1:01.68 while Casey Sievert was third in 1:03.81.
Ashley Weston won the 100-mter hurdles in 17.22 seconds.
Finally, the sprint medley relay team of Alicia Jorgenson, Maggie McCauley, Casey Sievert and Kirchner won in 1:59.27.
Placing second was the 4×800-meter relay team of Macy Dahl, Brianna Enerson, Casey Sievert and McKenzie Woodyard in 10:41.13 Dahl finished second in the 800-meter run in 2:37.75 while Woodyard was sixth in 2:46.62.
Weston placed third in the long jump at 14 feet, 7 1/2 inches while Sadie Winter placed fifth at 14 feet, 1 1/4 inches.
The shuttle hurdle relay team of Sadie Winter, Megan Karels, Irlanda Cabrales and Ashley Weston finished third in 1:12.54.
Also third was the 4×200-meter relay team of Jorgenson, Molly Wittmer, McCauley and Paige Guge in 1:58.56 and the 4×100-meter relay team of Winter, Wittmer, McCauley and Guge in 56.02 seconds.
Morgan Schichtl placed third in the shot put with a throw of 34 feet, 8 inches
Placing fourth was the 4×400-meter relay team of Casey Sievert, Kristin King, Karels and Kirchner in 4:35.18.
The distance medley team of Jorgenson, Wittmer, Tayler Bodle and Enerson placed fifth in 5:01.69.
Mikenzie Bell placed sixth in the 3000-meter run in 14:10.86 and Guge placed sixth in the 200-meter dash in 29.22 seconds.
