Sanchez continues to shine for ELC
STORM LAKE – Estherville Lincoln Central’s Miguel Sanchez continues to get better with each meet and Tuesday’s races at the Storm Lake Invitational were no different.

Also showing improvement was thrower Gable Bonner. He threw a career best 45 feet, 8 inches to placed third in the shot put and also had his best throw ever in the discus with a toss of 126 feet, 5 inches. That placed him fifth.

While senior Riley Curry also had his best throw in the shot put, 44 feet, 1/2 inches, it didn’t earn him any points as he placed seventh.
