Warriors top Royals for second win

ARMSTRONG Trent Pedersen ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns and Isaac Engeman ran for 87 yards and two touchdowns in North Union’s 26-14 win over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union on Friday.

Pedersen carried the ball 33 times and had 1-yard touchdown runs in the first and third quarters. Engeman had a 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and a 9-yard run in the fourth.

Quarterback Elliott Hagebock was 3-of-6 passing for 16 yards as the Warriors finished with 247 yards of offense.

Defensively, Eythan Blair has 12 tackles and Hunter Pierce snagged an interception.

North Union (2-4 overall, 1-3 in district play) is on the road against St. Edmond (1-5, 0-4) in Fort Dodge this Friday.
