Titans unable to keep up with Raiders

RUTHVEN – Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire battled East Sac County for four quarters, but came up short in a 57-47 loss on Friday.

East Sac County led the entire way after taking a 20-16 lead after one quarter of play and held a 34-31 advantage at halftime and 44-39 after three quarters.

Tom Geelan hot the hot hand for the Titans as he finished with 20 points while shooting 9-of-17 from the field including 2-of-5 from 3-point range. Eric Sundall contributed a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Chris Conlon had eight points and three assists while Jacob Conlon had four points and four assists. Brady Rosacker had three points and Sam Skattebo had two.

GT/RA (2-4 overall) returns to action in 2017 at home in Graettinger against Clay Central-Everly on Thursday, Jan. 5.
