Titans pick up fourth win of season

DAYTON?- Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire won its fourth game of the season, scoring the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning for a 5-4 victory over Southeast Valley on Wednesday.

Brady Rosacker pitched all eight innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks.

The Titans finished with six hits as Payton Brower went 2-3 and Nole Bochmann was 1-4 with a three-run home run in the fourth inning. Also, Alex Chicoin, Jace Naig and Tyson Kruse each had a hit. Rosacker and Naig had the Titans’ other two RBIs.

On Friday, the Titans faced a tough Alta-Aurelia team and lost 11-0 in five innings. The visiting Warriors scored two runs in the fourth inning and nine in the fifth.

Stats for GT/RA were unavailable Sunday.

GT/RA (4-10 overall) is at West Bend-Mallard today. The Titans host Newell-Fonda in Graettinger on Tuesday.
