ELC JV teams win twice
The Estherville Lincoln Central Junior Varsity girls started the week with a pair of wins, defeating Algona 48-4 on Monday and Sioux Central 43-23 on Tuesday.
In Tuesday’s game, Hadley Madsen had eight points, Gabrielle Paul had seven, Jersie Nitchals had six, Audree Reinhardt, Evi Nath, and Tatum Dunlavy each had four, Brei Christoffer and Kennedy Paul each had three, and Emily Regelstad and Emma Wright each had two.
Against Algona, Brei Christoffer led ELC with 14 points, Kennedy Paul had eight, Evi Nath had five, Hadley Madsen, Emily Regelstad, and Gabrielle Paul each had four, Tatum Dunlavy had three and Jersie Nitchals and Audrey Reinhardt each had two points.
The ELC Junior Varsity boys also went 2-0, defeating Algona 53-31 on Monday and Sioux Central 41-13 on Tuesday.
Against Sioux Central, Logan Nissen and Jack Jensen led ELC with eight points, Blake Ingvall had seven, Brenden Finley had five, Daryl Jensen, Grant Love, and Blake Evans each had four, Carson Grange had three, Tristan Howard had two and Blake Andrews had one.
Against Algona, Tristan Howard led ELC with 18 points, Logan Nissen had 10, Grant Love had eight, Blake Ingvall had five, Jack Jensen and Blake Evans each had four, and Daryl Jensen and Brenden Finley each had two.
