While the Estherville

Lincoln Central boys finished

at the bottom of the

Lakes Conference standings

this season at 2-8, three

players impressed the league

coaches to earn all-conference

honors for the 2020-

21 season.

The Lakes Conference

showed its youth in the first

team selections, which had

just one senior with five juniors

and one sophomore.

ELC senior Will Larson

earned second team honors

while junior Adrian Vaughn

and freshman Owen Larson

both earned honorable mention

all-conference honors.

Will Larson led ELC in

the 10 conference games,

averaging 11.9 points, 4.1

rebounds, 1.1 assists and

0.7 steals per game. He shot

37.9 percent from the field,

including 28.8 percent from

3-point range and 76.2 percent

from the free throw

line.

Owen Larson’s numbers

weren’t far off, as he averaged

11.1 points, 3.9

rebounds, 2.9 assists, and

2.0 steals per game in the

league. He shot 36 percent

from the field, including

27.4 percent from 3-point

range, and 75 percent from

the free throw line.

Vaughn averaged 7.3

points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.2

assists, and 0.4 steals per

game while shooting 37.5

percent from the field including

31.2 percent from

3-point range.
