Brendon J. Goecke, the son of Jeffrey Goecke and Twila Handeland, was born on November 29, 1980 in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away surrounded by his family, on April 30, 2023 at Palo Alto County Health Systems in Emmetsburg at the age of 42 years.
Upon completing his education he moved to Indiana. He worked in the landscaping business. Brendon met Tabitha Skow while living in Indiana. The couple was united in marriage on August 3, 2009 in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved to Ringsted to be closer to family in 2016. Brendon loved helping his dad on the family farm. Being in nature brought great joy and peace to Brendon; especially hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking, and gardening. He had a passion for aquarium fish, rescuing and taking care of many in his home.
Brendon is survived by his wife Tabitha Goecke; his children: Christopher Goecke, Jeremiah Goecke, and Trinity Goecke, his mother Twila Morrow, his sister Holly (Jason) Martin, and niece and nephew: Payton Martin and Lincoln Martin. He is also survived by his father-in-law Randy Skow, mother-in-law Bev Skow, and dear friends Austin Inman, Phillip Goecke, Levi Olson, and Joe Rockwell.
Brendon is preceded in death by his dad, Jeffrey Goecke.
