David Lee Breyfogle, 76, passed away at Aspire Nursing Home on Sunday, August 15, 2024. He was born November 14, 1947 to Melvin and Betty (Bevins) Breyfogle at the Park View Clinic in Estherville, IA.
After graduation from Estherville High School in 1966 he joined the US Navy as a photographer. He served for 14 years with stations in Seattle, Spain, and Virginia among others. He was a long time resident of Fredericksburg, VA and later in Baltimore, MD until his retirement in Estherville in 2016.
David is survived by his daughter Kirsten (Doug) Prinn and their son Jack and daughter Kacie; brothers Dan (Sandy) Breyfogle and nephews Brian and Gary; Douglas Breyfogle, niece Mindy (Jeff) Griffith and their sons Jace and Evan, and nephew Christopher Breyfogle.
Preceding him in death are his parents Melvin (2016) and Betty (1993) and his brother Dale (2014).
There was a private family service on Thursday, October 17, 2024, with burial in East Side Memorial Cemetery.
