Jacquelyne Jean (Tuttle) Schenk was born on February 26th, 1954 in Estherville, Iowa, the daughter of Bob and Betty (Heckard) Tuttle. She passed away on September 27th, 2023 surrounded by family at the home of her son, Christopher and Sara Hinrichsen, in Ashton, Iowa at the age of 69.

Jackie received her schooling in Estherville and did CNA training. Throughout her life she was a hard worker and was last employed at Kwik Star in Estherville and made her home at Garden Village Apartments also in Estherville.

Jackie had many interests in her life. She was an excellent decorator, always keeping her home stylish and welcoming. She was creative and made many beautiful stained-glass items over the years. She loved a good thrift shop and was always finding the coolest pieces. She also enjoyed the outdoors and going camping. Jackie was always so kind and had the most infectious laugh. Most important to Jackie was her family. She had a deep love for all of them, especially her sons and grandchildren. They were her world.

She is survived by her son Cory Reiter of Estherville and his children, Andrew and Kayla; her son Chris (Sara) Hinrichsen of Ashton, Iowa and their children, Jayda, Kendra, Lili, and Lexi. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Tuttle of Estherville, her sister Wynona (Kim) Rasmussen of Dolliver, her brother Earl (Joan) Tuttle of Kilroy, North Dakota, her sister Margaret (Terry) Nelson of Fulda, Minnesota and her sister Melinda Lindell of Estherville. She leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Bob Tuttle, her brother Bob Tuttle Jr, her niece Melissa Tuttle, her nephew Calvin Tuttle, and both paternal and maternal grandparents.

A Celebration of life was held Sunday, October 8th, at the Lodge in Fort Defiance State Park in Estherville from 12-3 with a private family burial after the service.
