Juliet Dugayo Hanson, age 59, of Warrensburg, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
She was born September 11, 1962 in Sorsogon City in the Philippines, the daughter of Rafeal Duguyo and Celedonia (Domo) Dugayo.
On December 6, 1984, she and Steven Hanson were united in marriage in the Philippines.
Juliet had a great love for sewing, flowers, dogs, and family. She also collected angels and Virgin Marys.
Juliet is survived by her husband, Steve; her brothers, Melcher Dugayo and Odelon (Melea) Dugayo; her sisters, Medory (Martin) Manait, Emily (Cesar) De Chavez, Josephine (Bob) Farnsworth, Jocelyn (Valentino) Barba, and Christina (Dennis) Ebio; her sisters-in-law, Laurie (Joel) Stevens and Gayle (Rick) Johnson; her brother-in-law, Brad Dykes; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, Merrill Hanson; mother-in-law, Cleora Hanson; a brother, Robert Dugayo; a sister, Norma Dugayo; and a sister-in-law, Sheryl Dykes.
The family received friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville, IA. The family will also receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
