Mark Thomas Triggs, son of Thomas and Viola (Winter) Triggs, was born on January 30, 1951 in Estherville, Iowa. Mark passed away on May 24, 2020 at his home in Estherville at the age of 69 years.
A private family service will be held at this time. Interment will be at East Side Memorial Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be held at a later date.
Mark grew up in the Estherville area, graduating from Estherville High School in 1969 before enlisting in the United States Army in 1970. After he was honorably discharged in 1981, Mark worked for John Morrell and AgChem, retiring in 2016.
Mark married Sandra Bergeson on April 4, 1970 and to this union, three children were born, Jason, Daniel and Tina.
Mark enjoyed old classic cars, BINGO, collecting stamps and watching NASCAR. Most importantly he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Triggs; his sons, Jason (Amber) Triggs, Daniel (Connie) Triggs and Jose Lopez; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Carolyn Ellis.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Viola (Winter) Triggs, his daughter, Tina Triggs, sister, Arlene Muir, brother, Steven Triggs, and granddaughter, Stephanie Triggs.
