Robert J. Hartman was born on December 16, 1954, in Estherville, Iowa to Donald and Viola (Pierce) Hartman. He passed away on July 6, 2025, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, at the age of 70. Private family services will be held. Robert is survived by his sister, Vicki (Tom) Grems; nephews, Kevin (Katherine) Grems and Kyle (Kelly) Grems; great-nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Viola (Pierce) Hartman.
