Samuel Lee Woolery, son of Randy and Cheri (Dammann) Woolery, was born on May 5, 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on April 8, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital at the age of 25.

Funeral services for Sam will be on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Henry Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. The funeral will be live streamed via the Henry Olson Funeral Home webpage for those that would like to join virtually. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 5-8 p.m., at Henry Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Burial will take place at East Side Memorial Cemetery in Estherville. Sam received his education and graduated from Spencer High School in 2013. While in high school he enjoyed being on the swim team. He then attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, where he met Sierra, the love of his life.

He was united in marriage to Sierra Stille on August 15, 2020 at Fort Defiance State Park. Sam was employed with Polaris Industries building motorcycles. He also worked part time at the Fareway meat department counter.

Sam loved spending time with family and friends. He always made people smile. He enjoyed Xbox, playing the drums for Sheltered Reality, attending Skillet concerts, Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings and his dogs, Kinnick and Bella.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer and Grandview Baptist Church in Estherville.

Left to cherish Sam’s memory are his wife, Sierra; mother, Cheri Woolery (Randy Wise); siblings, Nathan (Megan) Woolery; Emma (Colby) Nelson; Alex Woolery; niece, Layla Nelson; grandma, Nita Dammann; mother and father-in-law, Jodi and Jason Stille; sister-in-law, Jordan Stille (Isaiah Macias), grandparents-in-law, Marcia and Clint Howard, and grandma-in-law Becky Stille.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Woolery; grandparents, Merle Dammann; Jean and Norm Halverson and Charlotte and Earl Woolery.
