Susan “Susie” Janet (Roark) Bradley, 51, of Estherville, died March 9, 2024, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

She was born September 25th, 1972, to Richard and Margaret (Forch) Roark of Anthon, Iowa.

She was the youngest of five sisters; Carol, Linda, Barb and Connie. She graduated from Anthon-Otto in 1991 the same year she met the love of her life, Dale Bradley. They wed July 13th, 1991 and resided in Estherville, Iowa. 1991 was a big year as they welcomed their only child, Mallory in November. Dale and Susie were married for 32 years.

Over the years many memories were made while being a Girl Scout leader and dance mom. Susie had a love for racing. Junior Drag Racing was a big part of her life with Dale and Mallory. When time wasn’t spent at the track, it was spent with her family. Many memories were made celebrating birthdays, weddings, new arrivals, trips to the casino and any reason to get together. Taking pictures and being with family and friends were big parts of Susie’s life, along with enjoying an occasional Ultra with a pickle.

Susie spent the last 5 years working at NorthStar Bank. While selling insurance at NorthStar she created many friends and added to the extended family. As life settled down her view of fun and happiness revolved around being with and taking care of her grand babies, Paisley and Elliot, along with her dog Ella and granddog Mia.

She was always the life of the party. Along with her unique fashion sense and love for jewelry. Susie is so loved and will be deeply missed by many.

Susie is survived by her husband Dale, daughter Mallory (Jeremy) Galvin, grandchildren Paisley and Elliot. Mother in law, Karon Bradley.

She is also survived by her sisters Linda Kellogg, Barb (Bart) Byriel, and Connie (Scott) Yockey; brother-in-law, Doug (Jen) Bradley; along with nieces and nephews; Chrissy, Kim, Sheila, Brad, Becky (Jason), Corey (Julie), Michael (Mel), Jessica (Jeremy), Chris (Bree), Justin (Megan), Austin (Jessica), Dylan, Logan and Carly; along with multiple great nieces and nephews.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Margaret Roark, her sister Carol Libke, brothers-in law Mike Libke and Clifford Carmen and her father-in-law Verlyn Bradley.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Henry-Olson Funeral Home, 401 N. 7th Street, in Estherville.
