Virginia was an avid reader and a lover of the arts, frequenting the opera and museums. She was an excellent cook and loved hosting dinner parties. Vig-inia loved to travel and took trips to Mexico, Europe, and traveled solo to Turkey in her 70s. Virginia moved to Davis, Calif., in 2002 immersing herself in the community where she became an active member of the Davis Lutheran Church.
