Gwen Maureen Moyer the daughter of Bob and Darlene (Woodcock) Brunskill was born January 30, 1964 in Boloxi, Mississippi. She died on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Avera Mckennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 56.
She received her education in Jackson, Minn., and Estherville schools. She then attended Buena Vista College and Iowa Lakes Community College.
On June 5, 1993, she was united in marriage to James Moyer. The couple made their home in Estherville. Gwen served as Secretary for the First Presbyterian Church and later worked at Avera Holy Family Hospital with dietary and house cleaning. Gwen enjoyed camping and doing crafts but most important was spending time with her family.
Left to cherish Gwen's memory are her husband, Jim; sons, DJ and Eli; grandchildren, Adriana and Jose Alcala; parents, Bob and Darlene Brunskill; brothers, Brian and Andy Brunskill; nieces Jennifer Lujan and Megan Brunskill; and Michael.
She has been preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Moyer; sister, Monica Lujan; grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Jensen and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alice and Jim Moyer and father-in-law, Dan Minion; sister-in-law, April Brunskill; nephews, Nick Lujan and Nick Brunskill.
